Born in Hibbing, Minnesota, Teek is an experimental artist exploring embodiment and perception through installation, performance, painting, and virtual reality. She studied Architecture at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and worked as an Art Director for film in Los Angeles, CA. In 2016, she founded the XR studio, Antimattered, based on the belief that mixed reality mixes people through story experiences. Using spatial computing software to produce elaborate hand-painted environments, she works closely with composers to build immersive worlds.  Teek has spoken about the future of art and tech at Google, SXSW, Wall St. Journal D.Live, and was a New Frontier Artist at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival.
